THREE RIVERS STADIUM, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Implosion today Sunday
February 11, 2001.  Work was dome by CDI (Control Demolition Incorporated) 
Event  was held at 8:00 a.m. right on schedule.  New stadium (PNC Park),  65 
feet away was not disturbed. The whole show took about 20 seconds . It was many 
minutes, however before dust cloud cleared.  Pile of rubble stands 60 feet high in some places.

The Three Rivers Stadium sat on the north shore of the Ohio River, just at 
confluence of the Allegheny River coming down from North and the Monongahela
River coming in for the south.
