Edna Mae Dixon
Family History
The first child of Ed and Sallie Dixon was a daughter, Edna Mae, born 26
August 1909 near Trenton, Dade County, Georgia. Edna married Dallas
Dale Daniels 4 April 1927 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee.
Dallas was born 3 October 1901 at Trenton to Benjamin L. Daniels and
the former Elizabeth Hedrick.
He was a coal miner by profession and attended the Baptist Church. The
first child of Edna and" Dallas was a daughter, Doris Jean, born 8 March
1932 at Jenkins, Letcher county, Kentucky. On 16 February, Doris Jean
married Joseph W. Terry, who was born 17 September 1929 at Coeburn,
Wise County, Virginia to John Terry and Bess Jackson.
Doris Jean is a hairdresser by profession and attends the Baptist
Church. She and Joseph have three children. Joseph Terry Jr. was born
31 December 1949 in Jenkins, Letcher County, Virginia and on 7 March
1970 he married Donna Craynon in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Joe
Jr. and Donna have two daughters, Hope and Faith.
The second child of Joe and Doris Jean is Karen S., born 21 December
1951 at Jenkins. She married Billy Handley on 9 October 1983 at
Cincinnati, Ohio. The third child of Joe and Doris Jean is a son, John
Dale, born 28 September 1955 at Cincinnati, Ohio. On 12 March 1974,
John married Deborah Jo Strahn in Middletown, Ohio. John is a salesman,
a veteran of four years in the U.S. Navy. Debbie is the daughter of
Dewayne Danile Strahm and Fay Ferguson. John Dale and Debbie have two
daughters, Jennifer Lynn, born 15 October 1974 and Leslie Ann, born 11
March 1981, both at Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
The second child of Edna and Dallas Daniel is a daughter, Nancy Joann,
born 21 February 1936 at Jenkins, Letcher County, Kentucky. On 4
December 1954, she married Charles Fleming at Lawrence, Hancock
County, Indiana.
Charles is the son of George Fleming and the former Mildred Hale.
Charles retired form the U. S. Air Force in 1970 and attends the Baptist
Church. Nancy is an operator with the local telephone company and also
attends the Baptist Church. Charles and Nancy have two daughters and a
son. Their first child is Nancy Charlene, born 22 October 1955 in
Limestone, Aroostock County, Maine. Nancy married Robert Mount 2
October 1977 at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. They had two
daughters, Carissa, born 10 April 1919 and Natalie, born 19 July 1981,
both in Dayton, Ohio. In November 1986,
Nancy Charlene married a Kuwait, Imad Ahou Chachine at Beaver Creek,
Green County, Ohio. They have two daughters1 Imira, born 15 July 1989
in Kuwait City, Kuwait and Noor born 30 May 1990 at Columbus, Ohio.
The second child of Charles and Nancy Joann is a daughter, Kathy Renee,
born 14 October 1956 in Jenkins, Letcher County, Kentucky. She married
Charles Phillabaum 30 December 1979 at Beaver Creek, Green County,
Ohio. Charles "Chuck" was born 7 July 1956 in Dayton to Gail Leroy
Phillabaum and the former Joyce Ann Lightcap. He is a sheet metal
worker. Kathy is an office manager and they attend the Baptist Church.
Kathy and Chuck have two daughters, Stephanie Renee, born 19 September
1981 and Lindsey Ann, born 7 June 1983, both in Kettering, Montgomery
County, Ohio.
Charles Alan, a son, is the third child of Charles and Nancy Fleming. He
was born 12 January 1963 at Greenville, Greenville County, South
Carolina. He married Leann Green, 4 November 1983 at Jacksonville,
Duval County, Florida. Charles is a four-year veteran of the U.S. Navy
and. is a steam engineer. Leann was born 13 October 1959 in Miami, Dade
county, Florida to Edward John Green and Jerrilu Bussard. She first
married Michael I. Talb and they had a daughter, Aubrey Cecile, born 14
November 1980 in Jacksonville. Upon their marriage, Charles Alan
Fleming adopted Aubrey. Charles and Leann also have a son, Christopher
Charles, born 13 November 1986 in Jacksonville.
The third child of Dallas and Edna Daniels is a son Billy Dale, born 2
August 1938 at Jenkins, Letcher County, Kentucky. On 29 September
1956, he married Wilma Jean Ruckel at Jenkins. Wilma Jean is the
daughter of Henry Ruckel and Ruby Spaw, born 1 February 1937 at Eubank
in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Both Billy and Wilma Jean work at Procter
and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio and attend the Baptist Church. Billy and
Wilma have two sons and a daughter. Their first son is Roger Dale, born
15 January 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio. On 7 October 1978, he married
Karen Elaine Strahm. They have three children: Jessica Nicole born 26
May 1979; a son, Joshua Dale, born 21 January 1981 and Sarah Elaine,
born 4 March 1986, all in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The second child of Billy Dale and Wilma Jean is a daughter, Angela Rene,
born 10 April 1961 at Reading, Hamilton County, Ohio. She married Rodney
Dozier 23 August 1983 in Victorville, California. Rodney was born 4
January / 1961 at Reading, Hamilton County, Ohio to Donald Dozier and
Frances Inman. He is a seven-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and is a
technician for Proctor and Gamble Corporation.
Rene is a registered nurse at Bethesda Hospital and they attend the
Baptist Church. Rene and Rodney have two sons and a daughter: Dallas
was born 2 April 1984 and Dana, their daughter, was born 30 July 1985,
both in Victorville, California. Their second son, Eric, was born 4
November 1988 at Cincinnati, Ohio.
The third child of Wilma and Billy Dale is a son Dwight David, born 28
October 1963 at Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. On 3 September
1982, he married Jennifer Lee Bucker. Jennifer is the daughter of
Robert Carl Bucker and Patricia Ann Marriaker, born 3 April 1963 at
Cincinnati, Ohio.
David and Jenny have two sons, Jason, born 10 January 1987 and Robert
Dale, born 13 February 1988, both in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dwight David is a
6-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and is an electronic technician as a
profession.
Dallas Dale Daniels died 28 May 1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was buried
30 May 1967 at Loveland, Ohio. Edna died 19 May 1972 at Dayton,
Montgomery County, Ohio and was buried 23 May 1972 at Loveland, Ohio.
