My Uncle Paul was a town counsilman, decon of the Baptist Church, and beloved father husband friend and neighbor in his hometown of Jenkins, KY prior to his death in Aug of 2000.

So, to answer some of your questions I will start with who raised Paul after our mother died. Paul was raised by aunt Loretta and uncle George Fleming. Paul is buried in a cemetery called "Green Acres" and that is the same cemetery that Uncle Les, Aunt Ersel, Aunt Loretta and Uncle George is buried in. Uncle Les's family is also buried there. Loretta is Shirley's mother and her real father's name was Dotson.

Shirley and I spent most of our early years with our grand parents. I remember that somewhere around 1943 or 44 my mom and dad finally came and got me. They had moved to Baltimore, Maryland and when we arrived there it was the first time I had seen a commode. I peeded on the seat ( I didn't know that you were supposed to raise the seat) and dad raised holy hell with me. Funny how you never forget those things.
