Dressing for Garden Lettuce

Ingredients

1 cup of cream
salt and pepper
3 heaping tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of vinegar

Baked Apples

Ingredients

5 tablespoons of white sugar
4 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 rounded tablespoon of flour
a pinch of salt
almost a cup of water

Directions

1. Place some butter on each apple half.
2. Spoon syrup over all, and bake until soft.
3. Baste with the syrup every now and then while baking.
